TEPP Facilitator Training – Session 3: Ireland
October 15 at 10:00 am - October 19 at 6:00 pm
I’m thrilled to announce the fifth TEPP facilitators’ training. It will be starting next October at The Boghill Centre – a gorgeous retreat near Kilfenora in County Clare, Ireland.
A full description of the TEPP facilitators’ training can be found here. The basic facts of it are:
- The training prepares people to facilitate the Radical Wholeness weekend workshop. Enrolment is limited to 20.
- Anyone can apply to join the training who has taken my weekend workshop, or is planning to take it before the training begins. For those who are interested but can’t make any other workshop, there will be a workshop in Killaloe on the weekend just prior to the training.
- The training takes place over a year, and includes three five-day training periods in Ireland, frequent group video calls and audio exercises, as well as teaching and study aids.
Although the stated purpose of the training is to prepare participants to facilitate the Radical Wholeness weekend workshop, the training actually supports a significant and life-changing challenge. To facilitate a workshop, you need to model the work. To support you in that, the training focuses on helping you deepen into the body’s intelligence, so you can ease into your wholeness and model it effortlessly.
At the end of the training, graduates who want to go ahead and run Radical Wholeness workshops usually begin with two- or three-hour events, sharing the curriculum in bite-sized chunks as they become increasingly familiar with it. When a graduate and I both feel they are ready to facilitate the full weekend workshop, I will include their name on my website as a certified facilitator.
People are drawn to the Facilitators’ Training for different reasons, and I honor them all. Some are drawn to it for reasons of personal growth, some to complement a modality they already practice, and some to share the work with others. Whatever the motivation, my conviction is that anyone who takes the training will be carrying the work into the world in some form or another. What really matters is that they come to it with a desire to live from wholeness, and a willingness to feel their way there. Participants will be expected to commit to all three sessions.
A little bit about the venue: The Boghill Centre is located on 50 acres of natural bog and wetlands and surrounded by planted forest has been described as the Boghill Canyon. They have a stone circle a cob house, a sweat lodge area, a wildlife pond, extensive organic vegetable and fruit gardens, an orchard, a chicken coup and two natural labyrinths. They also provide 3 beautifully prepared meals a day (all dietary restrictions catered to) and a spacious, welcoming space for the training.
The Ireland Facilitator Training will run over three five-day sessions, spaced out over one year: October 16-20, 2017, May 21-25. 2018, and Oct 15-19, 2018.
The number of participants will be limited to 20, and over the year they will receive as much support as I can provide.
The beautiful The Boghill Centre is The Boghill Centre is situated between Lisdoonvarna (2 miles) and Kilfenora (3 miles). With prior notice a pick up can be arranged from either of these towns. The centre is beautifully aligned with the intent of TEPP and the physical environment will beautifully support our work. Food is nutritious, mostly organic and tailored to your needs.
Training AND Accommodation: Each of the five-day sessions will cost €1,236 or €1,296 (depending on hostel or single/twin accommodation). This price includes all your food and accommodation at the retreat, a facilitators’ manual, at least one large group video call each month and informal calls the other weeks, and a key teaching aid (we don’t want to spoil the surprise). It will also include fun, because it’s in the spirit of play that we most fully engage and learn.
